The couch sits 1 child comfortably. Two children is tight, but as long as the 2 kids don’t mind touching slightly, it won’t be a problem.
The construction is okay. For a small piece of furniture and the price, I would have expected something much more durable. My child hops on it and falls into it and he can feel the wood frame underneath the cushioning. The arm rests have no padding on the topside, so resting on the armrests hurts because the wood frame digs into kids.
If you’ve ever shopped for furniture at a discount place, then you know how they cut corners to make cheaper furniture. The manufacturer has cut all the corners for this piece. Some extra padding in the back, the armrests, and the seat would have made this a more durable product without adding to the cost. Actually, I probably wouldn’t have noticed all the other shortcuts taken to manufacture this item if the armrests, at the least, were properly cushioned and did not hurt to lean on.
Item is cute and looks good, but only functional if your child will remain seated in an upright position. Laying on and horsing around does not got well with this item.
Couch could have also been a couple inches longer to better accomodate 2 children sitting.
Based on construction, I would have been willing to pay $[...] for this item, half of what I actually paid. I guess children’s play furniture has high mark-ups, too.
I am completely satisfied with this piece. It’s really cute, very well made, and it’s something my child will be able to use for years to come. A+
I ordered this through Vision Decor. It was shipped within a few days of my order and I received it two weeks later. There was an initial mixup with the delivery company delaying my delivery date (outside contractor not Vision Decor) but let me tell you Vision Decor, via Camelia, went above and beyond to make sure that everything was straightened out and I would get the delivery ASAP despite the run around the delivery company gave me (it was right around Christmas in the delivery company’s defense and pretty hectic-but I still needed the couch by a certain date). I would not hesitate to order from Vision Decor again and they had excellent customer service. I didn’t even have to call Vision Decor- they took care of my complaints against the delivery company via emails (my personal preference
- I hate phone trees or leaving messages) and voila it was all taken care of. Yay!!!
Regarding the couch itself- our family loves it. We ordered the Green/Sage right hand facing chaise. I ordered it specifically for my mom for Christmas as we would have many family members home for the holidays and I thought an inexpensive sectional would be the perfect fit.Our older couch and loveseat have seen better days. It looks beautiful. It does look exactly like the picture. It has a lot of space to seat many family members. There is a chaise, but also when placing the Ottoman up against the opposite corner it essentially like having two chaises or a U shaped sofa. The cushions are a bit firmer (firmer not uncomfortable), but after years of our soft yet sagging couches, it was a nice change. I slept on it twice and it was a good night’s rest.
The couch does require some assembly- it took my husband and I a couple of hours. But for the money you save, as normal delivery and set up would have run about $200, it was well worth it. This couch is inexpensive, yet is impressive above what you paid. I did not have $2000 for a higher end sectional, and for the price (remember this sofa is inexpensive) our family is very happy with what we have. Overall, a good find and a great deal for the price.
I ordered this sofa near the end of Oct. and was assured they would arrive before Thanksgiving. After not recieving the couches by Thanksgiving I was a little dissapointed to say the least. My wife and I eagerly opened the boxes just to find they had sent the wrong item. We spent a month in communication with Visiondecor and the best they could do was either an untimely exchange or a 10% refund. It would be a very different review if this was a lamp or a rug, but these are couches we ourselves had to assemble. Shop here with EXTREME caution.
We were initially pretty sceptical of buying such a large item over the internet. After a lot of research, we decided to give it a try. Great quality for the price. Very easy to put together. Came in 3 boxes. Semi could not come into our dirveway so we had to transfer them onto our truck to get them to the house. Description says microfiber and leather. It is microfiber but not leather. The leather is a vynil leather look a like. You cannot tell after you put it together that it is not leather. We really like the way the furnature comes apart. It will make it much easier to get in and out of doors if and when we ever move again. You will need 2 people to lift the boxes into the room that you want to put it together in. All in all, we are very happy with the purchase and would not hesitate to order again from Great Furniture Deal. Thanks.
These couches are very comfortable and they look wonderful they come with the ottoman which makes the couches look great. They make any living room look neat and elegant.
It was very easy to put this furniture together. So far, it looks great, the seat cushions are very dense (they should last a while) and the color is beautiful. I have a cream and brown rocker recliner I was hoping to match, and it is so close it looks like they made for each other. This furniture is normal size, not child to preteen size like other furniture you see at Wal-Mart or Target.
The price alone was my biggest draw. Similiar sets go from $1200 to $2300. Shop around, and you will see what I mean.
I bought the the 3 pc. set for my Mom She loves it! She’s had the same living room set for 17 years. I thought it was time for her to upgrade. I ordered it about 2 weeks before Christmas and got here on the 23.
The Quality: Not the best, but for the price you really can’t argue. Suede fabric and leather type finish.
Size: Big, they can easily accommodate a large number of guests. We had the entire family over and everyone had a seat.
Comfort: Firm, but personally I like the firmness. I don’t like sitting down and being swallowed up by a sofa.
Overall: I think it was a great purchase, Delivery was easy, and Assembly was also a cinch. I really do recommend it.
After I struggled with the delivery company and the very nice delivery men who carried three boxes up to my 3rd floor apartment for no extra charge I was displeased with how the couch had been packaged.
The sectional back cushions and the two additional pillows had been shoved into the undersides of the couch base. Some of the cushions seem fine but some had been bent and pushed in and even after two months they haven’t quite been pushed back into place.
Personal mistake: I didn’t pay enough attention to the picture and purchased the lighter color nor do I have room for a coffee table
Manufacture mistake: The cushions that you sit on are a bit small for the couch base so I’m contastly falling into the crack of the cushions.
The point: you get what you pay for
I was surprised the set had to be put together when it got here but for my first livingroom set I couldn’t have done better I look all over an couldn’t find this set under 1500 anywhere else
The couch arrived in 3 LARGE cardboard boxes and required some fairly easy assembly. The construction of the furniture is rather cheap and mine came somewhat dinged up, but nothing visible once it was assembled. For the price, it was a good purchase and it will serve its purpose. Not the most comfortable thing in the world but once broken in im hoping it will feel a little better.
Again, it looks decent, and isnt too hard to assemble, decent piece of furniture for a man cave/kids room/bonus room – it is fairly cheap quality but you get what you pay for.
I wouldn’t recommend this for a living room or somewhere you want quality furniture but if you just need functional cheap pieces than this is a good purchase!
I bought this Futon Sofa Bed for my office and it is great for guests visiting as well. The material it uses are very durable and modern. I bought this futon as a couch for my one bed room apartment. I like to use it as a spare bed for someone come to visit and have a place to crash. It looks pretty modern and fits my life style and it is also very easy to clean.
I bought this futon as a couch for my college apartment and my roommate and I LOVED it. It is so easy to switch between the bed and couch so that guests could sleep comfortably when they stayed the night. The exterior looks and feels smooth and soft but is easily cleaned. And it’s really durable. After using it two years in my college apartment, I brought it back home to my own room.

This Sectional Sofa looks much more expensive than it really is. The cushions are like a memory foam, very comfortable. The color is fantastic. I bought a few other teal and brown shaded pillows which adds a little extra polish to the set. If you are short on space but want additional seating, this works nicely. Easy to assemble, I am a female and did it by myself.
